The Highland Lakes Service League
Hosted its
25th Special Needs Christmas Party on December 5, 2025

This magical event has grown far beyond its early days in the Methodist Church venue and now fills Putters and Gutters in Marble Falls with laughter, joy and Holiday Magic.

More than 300 guests, caregivers and teachers from Burnet and Llano counties were welcomed onto a red carpet, greeted by the spirited beats of the Marble Falls High School drumline. Their music set a joyful tone as guests, from young children to adults, stepped into a celebration designed just for them.

With more than 100 HLSL volunteers pitching in throughout the day, smiles were abundant, and it was impossible to tell who cherished the experience more, those attending – or those serving.

This year, while Santa posed for photos with each guest, Mrs. Claus created a cozy moment of her own with story time and guests added their handprints to a keepsake canvas that will return year after year, a growing testament to the community that gathers for this special day.

KBEY Radio's Ben Shields kept the dance floor lively spinning holiday favorites.  The jazz quartet, Here Comes Treble, kept spirits high, and Highland Lakes Chick-fil-A provided a favorite lunch, as the Burnet High School choir serenaded with gorgeous harmonies.

Dr. Jon Hager delighted the crowd with his unforgettable violin performance atop a unicycle.

The Highland Lakes Service League, with Horseshoe Bay Resort, and Putters and Gutters, wishes to extend its gratitude to the community, schools, and parents and caregivers for its trust and support of this most precious event.
